How to get your New Mexico Medical Cannabis Certification:

Create an account & select a Date/Time for your consultation

We offer both new certifications and renewals for all 29 qualifying conditions in the State of New Mexico.

We also offer PTSD screenings. After you have been certified for the use of medical cannabis we can assist you to enroll in the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Program. Six to Eight weeks after your certification, you will be able to legally purchase, possess and consume medical cannabis.

Here is what to expect next:

Within 3 days of your initial certification appointment with our team, you’ll receive an email from the Department of Health (DOH) Medical Cannabis Program. This email will provide you further instructions to create your DOH MCP account.

Note: It is extremely important to create your DOH MCP account using the same email address that you provide to us.

Once you login to your DOH MCP account, you will click the application to review.

Upload a scan of your State of New Mexico issued ID.

Sign the application and you have completed your certification/re-certification/renewal.

You MUST complete the STEPS YOU JUST SCROLLED THROUGH

 

For your certification to be processed and completed by the New Mexico Department of Health, you must follow these steps.

The virtual medical card you receive will expire every year, but you only receive a new virtual medical card every three (3) years. (There are three (3) expiration dates listed in your patient portal here.)

• Within five (5) business days of your consultation, the New Mexico Department of Health will email you a document to sign in order to proceed with your medical cannabis certification. Please check your spam folder for an email from no-reply@biotrackthc.org.

• A follow-up appointment will be made for you in one (1) year. You’ll receive a reminder call and text message approximately two (2) months prior to your scheduled appointment.

• If this certification was your initial application, your virtual medical card will be made accessible to you by the New Mexico Department of Health within thirty (30) days.

• If this was a re-certification, your virtual medical card will be renewed for another year.

• If this was a renewal certification (the date in the bottom right corner of your card that is approaching and/or has lapsed), you will receive a new virtual medical card. Physical cards are discontinued as of April 1, 2023.

• If you were supposed to receive a virtual medical card and have not received it within thirty (30) days of completing the above steps, please contact the Department of Health Medical Cannabis
